Four Adorable Pandas Return Home After Adventure in Japan!
Hey kids! Have you heard the exciting news? ๐ผโจ Four giant pandas who lived in a theme park in Japan are going back home to China! Let’s find out more about their amazing journey.
Meet the Panda Family
The pandas are a family: a mother named Rauhin, who is 24 years old, and her three daughters – Yuihin (8 years old), Saihin (6 years old), and Fuhin (4 years old). They have been living at Adventure World, a fun theme park in Shirahama, Japan.
A Special Stay in Japan
These pandas came to Japan as part of a special friendship program between China and Japan. Since 1994, Adventure World has been working with the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in China’s Sichuan Province to help protect and study pandas.
Over nearly 30 years, 17 giant pandas have been born at Adventure World! Isn’t that amazing?
Time to Go Home
Now, it’s time for Rauhin and her daughters to return to China. They are leaving in June when the weather is cooler, so they can travel comfortably. In China, they’ll live at the panda research base in Chengdu.
The park said, “We hope these four giant pandas can live a healthy and happy life in China, and we also hope that the young ones can help bring new baby pandas into the world.”
Only Two Pandas Left in Japan
After Rauhin and her daughters leave, only two giant pandas will remain in Japan. Their names are Xiao Xiao and Lei Lei, and they live at Ueno Zoo in Tokyo.
Why Pandas Are So Special
Giant pandas are loved all around the world because of their cute looks and gentle nature. They are also important because they are a symbol of friendship between countries.
Pandas are a vulnerable species, which means they need our help to survive. Programs like the one between China and Japan help scientists learn how to protect pandas and help them have more babies.
Goodbye and Good Luck!
Let’s wish Rauhin, Yuihin, Saihin, and Fuhin a safe journey back to China! ๐๐ผ We hope they have a wonderful time in their home and continue to bring joy to everyone who visits them.
