U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth shared important military plans in a chat group on his phone. This group included his wife, brother, and even the president’s personal lawyer! The plans were about an attack in March on a group called the Houthis in Yemen.
People were worried because sharing such sensitive information on a regular chat app isn’t safe. 🔐 It’s like telling your friend’s secret to a bunch of people—it could spread!
But guess what? President Trump said he’s totally okay with it. He said, “Pete’s doing a great job. Everybody’s happy with him.” He even joked, “Ask the Houthis how he’s doing.” 😅
This isn’t the first time Hegseth has shared secrets in a chat. Last month, he accidentally included a reporter in a group chat where he talked about similar plans!
