Hey there, badminton fans! πΈ
Have you heard about Malaysia’s amazing women’s doubles pair, Pearly Tan and Thinaah Muralitharan? They’re taking the badminton world by storm! π
After competing in the Paris Olympics, Tan and Thinaah felt a big change in how they play the game. They sat down with CGTN Sports Scene’s Zhu Mandan to chat about it.
Enjoying the Game More Than Ever
Even though they didn’t win a medal at the Olympics, Tan and Thinaah are happier on the court now. “We enjoy ourselves more after the Olympics,” Tan said with a smile. “We felt a lot of pressure in Paris and did our best. It’s a pity we didn’t get a medal, but now we cherish every competition even more!”
Facing Tough Rivals
Tan and Thinaah played against some of the best players in the world, including China’s Chen Qingchen and Jia Yifan. They also faced Liu Shengshu and Tan Ning from China. “Both pairs are very strong,” Tan said. “Even though Liu Shengshu and Tan Ning are young, they have strong hearts and great skills. It’s always tough playing against them!”
Looking Forward
With their positive attitude and love for the game, Tan and Thinaah are excited about the future. Who knows? Maybe we’ll see them on the podium next time! π
So, keep cheering for Tan and Thinaah as they smash their way through the badminton world! Go, team Malaysia! π²πΎ
