On the beautiful Beidao Island in China, a father and son duo have made it their life’s mission to protect the sea turtles of the South China Sea!
Meet Huang Hongbo, who has lived on Beidao Island for over 50 years. During his time there, he’s rescued many sea turtles—up to 400 in a single year! That’s like saving more than one turtle every single day! 😲🐢
Now, it’s time for his son, Huang Cheng, to continue this incredible work. With his dad’s guidance and the help of the local community, they’re ensuring that sea turtles can swim freely and safely for years to come.
