Shanxi Loongs Dominate Guangdong in Playoffs with 42-Point Win πŸ€

The Shanxi Loongs showed their strength by defeating the Guangdong Southern Tigers 123-81 in Game 1 of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) Playoffs quarterfinals! πŸ€ The game took place on Monday in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province.

Seven players from Shanxi scored over 10 points! 🌟 Brandon Goodwin led the team with 25 points, making 9 out of 13 shots. Trey Kell III, who just joined the team at the end of the regular season, added 18 points and 5 assists. Isn’t that awesome?

On Guangdong’s side, only three players scored more than 10 points, and none reached 20. Xu Jie scored 14 points after taking 13 shots. Guangdong had a tough game, missing many shots and making 20 turnovers.

The game was close in the first quarter, tied at 12-12. But then Goodwin and Kell III helped Shanxi take the lead, and they never looked back! By halftime, Shanxi was ahead 69-52.

In the second half, Shanxi kept up the pressure. Players like Hamidou Diallo and Ibrahima Fall Faye helped increase the lead. By the end of the third quarter, Shanxi was leading 91-67. The victory was almost certain by then! πŸŽ‰
