Badminton Unites China and Malaysia in Friendship! ๐Ÿธโค๏ธ

Did you know that badminton isn’t just a sport, but also a way to make new friends? ๐Ÿธ

Kenny Goh Chee Keong, the big boss of Badminton Asia and the Badminton Association of Malaysia, thinks so too! He chatted with CGTN Sports Scene’s Zhu Mandan about how badminton helps kids from China and Malaysia become buddies.

In Malaysia, badminton is super popular! Many kids play it, and they’ve built strong teams because they start training young. Kenny says that China has lots and lots of people, which means they have many young players to train. That’s cool, right?

Both countries want to make sure boys and girls have equal chances to play badminton. They’re promoting gender equality so everyone can join in the fun!

China and Malaysia are planning to do more badminton activities together. Some provinces in China are already having exchange events with Malaysian players. That means kids from both places get to meet, play, and learn from each other!

Kenny hopes they can keep helping each other out. Malaysia has learned a lot from China about how to host big competitions. He can’t wait for even more teamwork in the future! ๐Ÿค

So, if you like badminton, maybe one day you’ll play with friends from another country too!
