Hey everyone, we have some sad news to share. 😔 A terrible accident happened at a nightclub in the Dominican Republic called Jet Set. The roof of the club collapsed, and at least 225 people lost their lives. Many others were hurt and are in the hospital.
This event has affected the whole country, but the town of Haina is especially heartbroken. Many people from Haina were at the club that night.
Among the people there was a group called “Los Dorados.” They are a close group of friends who have known each other for many years. They went to the club to celebrate their friendship. But what was supposed to be a fun night turned into a very sad tragedy.
One survivor shared their story about that night. They said it was like a nightmare. One moment they were enjoying music and dancing, and the next, everything changed. People were scared and trying to find a way out.
This disaster is one of the worst to happen in recent times. Our hearts go out to all the people affected by this tragedy. Let’s keep them in our thoughts. 💔
