Hey basketball fans! Have you ever seen a game where the last second changes everything? That’s exactly what happened when Tyler Harvey made an incredible buzzer-beater to help the Shanghai Sharks defeat the Guangdong Southern Tigers 104-103!
The game was super close and even went into overtime. With just 1.6 seconds left, the Sharks were behind 103-101. It was a tense moment! Liu Zheng threw the ball to Tyler Harvey. Without even dribbling, Tyler took a quick shot over the defender’s fingertips. Everyone held their breath as the ball flew through the air… and swish! It went right into the hoop as the buzzer sounded! 🎉
Tyler Harvey was the hero of the night, scoring 33 points, grabbing 11 rebounds, and making 4 assists and 2 steals. He played an amazing 47 minutes! His teammates Wang Zhelin and Li Hongquan also helped by scoring in double digits.
The Guangdong Southern Tigers played really well too. Six of their players scored over 10 points! Troy Gillenwater led their team with 26 points, 11 rebounds, and 5 assists. Xu Jie was also on fire, making 5 out of 10 three-point shots!
It was a nail-biting game, and both teams had chances to win. In the last seconds of overtime, Guangdong had a chance to secure their lead, but they missed two important free throws.
