Superstar Xu Mengtao Soars to Silver 🥈
Olympic champion Xu Mengtao dazzled the crowd in the women’s aerials final. She performed a spectacular jump called the “back full-full-full” (that’s three flips with twists!) and scored an impressive 105.17 points. She took home the silver medal! 🥈
Australia’s Laura Peel also did the same tricky jump and scored 112.90 points, winning the gold medal. China’s Chen Meiting showed her skills too, earning the bronze medal with 91.44 points! 🥉
Sun Jiaxu Shines in Men’s Aerials 🥈
In the men’s aerials, China’s Sun Jiaxu soared high and landed himself a silver medal with 113.73 points! 🥈 His teammate Wang Xindi, who won the last World Cup event, came close and finished fourth with 101.00 points.
The gold medal went to Switzerland’s Noe Roth, who scored a whopping 130.05 points. His fellow Swiss skier, Pirmin Werner, took the bronze.
Qi Guangpu Takes Home the Crystal Globe 🏆
Although Olympic champion Qi Guangpu didn’t make it to the final this time, he still had a reason to celebrate! He topped the overall World Cup standings with 400 points and won the prestigious Crystal Globe award! 🏆
