Hey everyone! Have you heard the exciting news from Mexico? They’ve just created a brand new Ministry for Women to help protect the rights of girls and women across the country! How awesome is that? 🎉
Citlalli Hernández, a passionate advocate for women’s rights, has been chosen by Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum to lead this important new ministry. On International Women’s Day, they shared why this new cabinet-level office is such a big deal for women and girls in Mexico.
The Ministry for Women will replace Mexico’s old National Institute for Women. This means there will be even more focus on making sure that girls and women have equal opportunities, are safe, and can achieve their dreams. 🌟
