Hong Kong and Macao Advisors Visit Beijing to Strengthen Ties
Hey there! Do you know about Hong Kong and Macao? They are special places in China called Special Administrative Regions, or SARs for short. Recently, over 230 advisors from these places traveled all the way to Beijing, the capital of China! 🇨🇳
Why did they go to Beijing? Well, they had lots of ideas and suggestions on how to make Hong Kong and Macao work even better with the rest of China, sometimes called the Chinese mainland. They want to make their cities even more awesome! 🌟
These advisors are part of a big group called the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (that’s a mouthful!), or CPPCC for short. Think of it like a huge meeting where people share ideas to help their country.
Li Zhao, a reporter from CGTN (a news channel), talked with two of these advisors. They shared some cool thoughts on how Hong Kong and Macao can use their special strengths. For example, they’re great at finance (that’s money and business stuff 💰) and have lots of connections around the world! 🌐
