Hey snooker fans! 🎱 Guess what happened at the World Snooker Tour (WST) World Open in Shangrao, east China’s Jiangxi Province?
Four-time world champion John Higgins from Scotland had an amazing match against 23-year-old Pang Junxu from China. Higgins won the game 5-0! 😮
Higgins started strong, making a break of 125 points in the first frame (that’s like scoring a ton of points in one turn! 🏆). He kept up the great work with more high scores of 87, 96, and 81 in the next frames. Pang tried his best, but Higgins was just unstoppable!
Now, John Higgins is moving on to play against Zak Surety from England in the semifinals. We can’t wait to see what happens next! 🤩
In other matches, Joe O’Connor from England beat Shaun Murphy 5-1, and Ali Carter also won his game 5-4 against Barry Hawkins. It’s been an exciting tournament!
Who do you think will win the World Open? Stay tuned to find out! 🎉
