Hey everyone! 👋 Let’s talk about an amazing skater named Jang Sung-woo from South Korea. 🇰🇷 He just won the gold medal in the men’s 1,000-meter short track speed skating at the 9th Asian Winter Games! 🥇⛸️
The games were held in Harbin, a city in northeast China’s Heilongjiang Province, also known as the “Ice City” because of its super cold weather and awesome ice festivals! 🧊🌨️ Even though it was freezing, Jang said he really enjoyed competing there. Isn’t that cool? ❄️
But that’s not all! The International Skating Union (ISU) World Short Track Speed Skating Championships are coming up in Beijing in mid-March. Jang is super excited to participate in this big event. He can’t wait to skate his heart out again! 🚀
And guess what? He’s also dreaming of skating in the Winter Olympic Games in 2026, which will be held in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo in Italy! 🇮🇹🏔️ We wish him the best of luck on his journey to the Olympics! 🌟
Do you love skating or have you ever tried it? Maybe one day you’ll be the next skating champion! Keep reaching for your dreams! 🌠
