Los Angeles Rebuilds: One Month After the Big Fires ๐Ÿ”ฅ

๐Ÿ”ฅ It’s been one month since the most destructive fires in Los Angeles history swept through parts of the city. These fires sadly took the lives of 28 people and damaged or destroyed more than 18,000 homes and businesses.

But guess what? Los Angeles is strong and full of amazing people! ๐Ÿ’ช On Friday, February 7, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass gave an update on how the city is recovering. Communities are coming together to rebuild and help each other out.

In the neighborhood of Altadena, people held memorial services on Thursday to remember those who were lost. Underprivileged communities are working hard to make sure everyone gets fair treatment during the recovery process.

Even though the fires were scary, the people of LA are showing that when we work together, we can overcome anything! ๐ŸŒŸ

If you ever wonder how you can help, maybe think about ways to support your own community or learn about firefighters and how they keep us safe! ๐Ÿš’
