China’s curling team, Han Yu and Wang Zhiyu, just won their country’s first medal at the 9th Asian Winter Games in Harbin, northeast China’s Heilongjiang Province. They won the bronze medal in the mixed doubles curling event!

But wait, it gets more exciting! In their match against Marc Pfister and Kathleen Dubberstein from the Philippines, Han and Wang were trailing by 4-0 after just two rounds. 😱

Did they give up? No way! Han and Wang fought back, scoring point after point. They tied the game at 4-4 and then took the lead, finishing the match with a thrilling 6-5 victory! What an incredible comeback! 🎉

Earlier, the Chinese pair had won all five of their games in the first round but lost to South Korea in the semifinals. Still, they stayed strong and brought home the bronze medal for China. 🇨🇳

In the gold medal match, Japan’s Tori Koana and Go Aoki won against Kim Kyeong-ae and Seong Ji-hoon of South Korea with a close score of 7-6. Congrats to all the teams!
