Iran and Iraq Become Closer Friends to Help Their Region π

On Monday, the leaders of their parliaments, Mr. Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf from Iran and Mr. Mahmoud al-Mashhadani from Iraq, met in Tehran, which is the capital of Iran.
They talked about working together more to make their region safer and more peaceful. π They want to help both their countries and their neighbors live in harmony.
Mr. Qalibaf said, “We want to strengthen our political and economic relations. This will help bring peace and stability to the region for all our Arab, non-Arab, and Muslim friends.”

Mr. al-Mashhadani agreed and said they discussed important things like borders, trading, and working together to keep everyone safe.
