Rescue Teams Search Potomac River After Plane and Helicopter Crash

🚁✈️ In Washington D.C., rescue teams are working hard to find people after a passenger jet and an army helicopter collided over the Potomac River. So far, they’ve found the remains of 41 people. This is a very sad time for everyone involved.

The crash happened on Wednesday evening. Sadly, all 67 people who were on both the plane and the helicopter died. Now, investigators are trying to figure out what happened. They think that the helicopter’s altitude, or how high it was flying, might be an important clue.

The water in the Potomac River is very cold right now, making the rescue teams’ job even harder. But they are brave and determined to keep searching.

People are asking a lot of questions about how this could have happened. Everyone wants to make sure that something like this doesn’t happen again.
