Robots and Lanterns: My Awesome Day at Beijing’s Temple Fairs
Hi everyone! ๐ Guess what? I just had the coolest day ever exploring two amazing temple fairs in Beijing during the Chinese New Year! Have you ever wondered what it’s like to see robots playing football or taste delicious festival treats under hundreds of glowing lanterns? Let me tell you all about it! ๐
The Robot Temple Fair ๐คโฝ
First, we went to this super cool temple fair in Wukesong that was all about AI and robots! When we arrived, we saw a robot football match starting. Can you imagine child-sized robots zooming around, kicking a ball, and scoring goals? Every time they scored, the crowd cheered loudly! It was like watching a real game! ๐
Then, we found a robot rock band! Robots were playing drums, guitars, and keyboards, jamming together like real musicians. The music was awesome, and people were dancing along. ๐ถ
We explored more and saw robots serving ice cream ๐ฆ, mixing fruit cocktails ๐น, and even cooking french fries ๐! There were also fun games where kids could play basketball against robots. It felt like we were in the future! ๐
The Traditional Temple Fair ๐๐ฎ
After that, we headed to the Liulichang Cultural Street for a traditional temple fair. As we walked in, we saw rows of beautiful red lanterns hanging above us. There were stalls everywhere selling yummy treats like candied fruits on a stick called tanghulu ๐ก and spun sugar candies shaped like animals. The smells were amazing! ๐
We saw people selling colorful windmill fans that clicked when you spun them and fun light-up headbands. The streets were lined with art shops where we saw incredible paintings and calligraphy. Some artists even let us watch them as they painted! ๐จ
I loved one painting so much that I decided to buy it. The artist was so nice and even gave me a discount. Now, I have a special souvenir to remember this fantastic day! ๐ผ๏ธ
An Unforgettable Experience ๐
As the day ended, we took lots of photos and enjoyed the festive atmosphere. Being at the temple fairs during the Spring Festival was so exciting! Between the futuristic robots and the traditional decorations, it was a perfect mix of old and new. I can’t wait to explore more and maybe even see more robot adventures! ๐คฉ
Have you ever been to a festival like this or seen cool robots in action? Let me know! ๐
