β¨ Have you ever wondered how people rebuild their lives after a big earthquake? In Xizang Autonomous Region, also known as Tibet, people are showing incredible courage and teamwork!
π More than three weeks ago, a strong magnitude-6.8 earthquake shook Dingri County in southwest China. Dingri County is near the famous Mount Qomolangma (that’s what people in China call Mount Everest!). The earthquake caused damage to homes and buildings, and the echoes of the quake could still be felt.
π But guess what? The people there are not giving up! As they celebrate the Chinese New Year, they’re also working hard to rebuild their villages. Families are coming together to fix homes, and friends are helping each other out. The community spirit is super strong!
π€ A reporter named Yang Jinghao visited one of the villages that was hit the hardest. He saw how everyone is pitching in to make things better. Kids are returning to school, shops are reopening, and smiles are coming back to faces.
π€ It’s not easy, but with kindness and hard work, life is getting back to normal. The people of Xizang are showing us all how hope and teamwork can help overcome tough times.
π‘ Did you know? Earthquakes happen when the Earth’s plates move. They’re like giant puzzle pieces that shift and sometimes cause the ground to shake!
π So next time you face a challenge, remember the brave people of Xizang and how they worked together to rebuild their homes and lives. Together, we can overcome anything!
