Primates Celebrate Spring Festival Fun at Chongqing Animal Park
Have you ever seen lemurs opening red envelopes? ๐โค๏ธ Well, at the Leheledu Animal Theme Park in Chongqing, southwest China, ring-tailed lemurs and other primates had a delightful surprise during the Chinese New Year celebrations!
The zookeepers prepared special hongbao, or red envelopes, which are a traditional gift during the Spring Festival. Instead of money, these red envelopes were stuffed with tasty nuts and red dates, making them an exciting treat for the animals.
The lemurs weren’t the only ones joining in the fun. Squirrel monkeys, black-capped capuchins, and other primates also enjoyed receiving their own red envelopes filled with goodies. It was a fantastic way to share the festive cheer with the animal residents of the park.
Leheledu Animal Theme Park is home to over a hundred species of birds and animals. You can find amazing creatures like African elephants, giraffes, golden tigers, silver tigers, and bottlenose dolphins! ๐๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ฌ
Visiting the park during the Spring Festival is a great way to see how the animals join in the celebrations. Wouldn’t it be fun to watch a lemur open a red envelope? Maybe someday you’ll get to experience it yourself!
