Guess what, tennis fans! 🎾 Madison Keys has just won her very first Grand Slam title at the Australian Open! 🏆 She played an amazing match against Aryna Sabalenka, winning with scores of 6-3, 2-6, 7-5.
Madison, who is 29 years old, showed everyone that hard work and believing in yourself pays off. She said, “I had to go through some tough things. It forced me to look at myself and try to work on the internal pressure that I was putting on myself… I got to the point where I was proud of myself and my career with or without a Grand Slam.”
During the match, Madison played with great energy and hit some fantastic shots! 🎾 She even managed to stop Sabalenka’s winning streak of 20 matches at the Australian Open. That’s incredible!
After her big win, Madison was so happy she cried tears of joy. Her husband and coach, Bjorn Fratangelo, was there to cheer her on. Meanwhile, Sabalenka was disappointed but said she’ll keep working hard to play better next time.
