Hey there! Have you ever faced a really big challenge? Imagine your town getting flooded! 🌊 That’s exactly what happened last summer in a village called Zhujiagou in northeast China.
But guess what? President Xi Jinping himself braved the cold ❄️ to visit the villagers just before the Spring Festival, which is like the biggest holiday in China 🎉 (kind of like Christmas or New Year’s!). This year, it’s on January 29th!
He told the villagers, “I’ve been worried about you and came to see you before the Spring Festival.” Seeing the progress they’ve made in rebuilding their homes made him feel relieved. 😌
Last year, China faced a lot of natural disasters, but President Xi believes that with everyone’s hard work, things will get better. “We always put the people first,” he said. “You can always count on the Party and the government in tough times. We’ll help you overcome difficulties and rebuild your homes.” 🏡❤️
