A ceasefire means that both sides agree to stop fighting. In this case, Israel and a group called Hamas are trying to agree on the details. They had talks in Qatar, which is a country in the Middle East. 🌍
Majed Al-Ansari, who speaks for Qatar’s foreign ministry, said that both sides have been given a plan, and they’re working on the final details. Isn’t that exciting? 🤩
Even U.S. President Joe Biden and Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi are talking about it. They promised to keep in touch and hope that a deal will be made soon. 📞
If the ceasefire happens, it could stop the fighting that has been going on for a long time. Many people have been hurt, and lots of families have lost their homes. This could be a new beginning for everyone there. 🏡
