Zverev, who’s been a runner-up in Grand Slam tournaments twice before (that’s like getting the silver medal 🥈 in the biggest tennis competitions), really wants to win his first major title here in Melbourne this year.
Meanwhile, there was some sad news for Chinese fans. Bu Yunchaokete, a rising tennis star from the Chinese mainland, lost his match against Hady Habib. Habib won 7-6 (4), 6-4, 7-6 (6).
It was a tough match for Bu, and it was delayed because of heavy rain in Melbourne. The match didn’t start until the evening! Bu is still trying to get his first win at a Grand Slam tournament.
Did you know? Hady Habib is the first men’s player from Lebanon to reach the main singles draw of a Grand Slam! That’s a big achievement! 🌟
