Hey tennis fans! 🎾

Exciting news from Melbourne, Australia! Chinese tennis star Zheng Qinwen, who’s just 22 years old, won a big match against Elina Svitolina from Ukraine. She beat her 6-2, 6-2 in a special charity exhibition match at the famous Rod Laver Arena.

Zheng is currently ranked number 5 in women’s singles tennis. She’s known for her powerful shots from the baseline (that’s the back of the court). This match showed how hard she’s been working to improve her skills. In the last two months, she’s become even more precise and consistent!

Her opponent, Svitolina, is 30 years old and has lots of experience. But Zheng’s energy and agility on the court helped her come out on top. Way to go, Zheng! 🎉

In another match, Carlos Alcaraz from Spain, who’s ranked number 3 in men’s singles, played against Alex de Minaur from Australia. It was a tough battle! Alcaraz was ahead at first, but De Minaur fought back and won 7-5, 4-6, 10-5.

Alcaraz said afterward, “I love the competition, I love these kinds of matches against these kinds of players.” Even though he didn’t win, it was a great warm-up for the upcoming Australian Open!

These matches were a fun way to get ready for the Australian Open, one of the biggest tennis tournaments in the world. Are you excited to see more amazing tennis? We sure are! 🌟
