First 50 Ultra-Orthodox Soldiers Join Israel’s New Haredi Brigade

Hey there! Have you heard the big news from Israel? 🇮🇱 For the first time ever, 50 ultra-Orthodox soldiers have joined the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) in a brand-new unit called the Hasmonean Brigade!

The ultra-Orthodox community, also known as Haredi, follows very traditional Jewish practices. In the past, many of them didn’t serve in the military. But now, things are changing!

This new brigade is special because it respects their religious beliefs while they serve their country. Isn’t that cool? 😎

But that’s not all! About 100 more ultra-Orthodox people are training hard for six months. After that, they will join the brigade’s first reserves company.

This means more people working together to keep their country safe, while also staying true to their traditions. It’s a big step for the IDF and the Haredi community!
