China and Namibia: Growing Friends in Trade and Cooperation!

Hey there! Did you know that China and Namibia have been friends since 1990? 🤝 That’s over 30 years of friendship! They’ve been working together in many ways, like trading goods and sharing cultures.

In 2023, their friendship got even stronger. Trade between China and Namibia reached $1.31 billion! 💰 That’s a lot of toys, clothes, and cool stuff being shared between the two countries. This was a big jump of 16.5% compared to last year. 📈

From January 5 to 11, China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi visited Namibia and three other African countries—Republic of the Congo, Chad, and Nigeria. 🛫 This visit is part of a special tradition where China’s top diplomat starts each year by visiting Africa. They’ve been doing this for 35 years straight! 🎉

These visits help China and African countries like Namibia work together on important things like building schools, hospitals, and creating jobs. Isn’t it cool how countries can be friends and help each other out? 🌍❤️
