China Sends Help to Vanuatu After Big Earthquake 🌏🀝

Hey there! Did you hear about the big earthquake that hit Vanuatu? πŸŒ‹ On December 17, a powerful 7.3-magnitude earthquake shook the capital city, Port Vila. It caused a lot of damage, leaving at least 14 people dead and over 200 injured. Buildings were damaged, and many people needed help.

But guess what? China stepped in to help! πŸ‡¨πŸ‡³ A big shipment of emergency supplies arrived in Port Vila on Thursday. The 35-tonne (that’s really heavy!) aid package included tents, folding beds, solar lights, food, water purification equipment, and medical supplies. These will help the people who lost their homes and need basic things to live.

Chinese Ambassador to Vanuatu, Li Minggang, said, “We deeply understand the significant damage caused by the recent earthquake.” He wanted to let the people of Vanuatu know that China cares and wants to help them recover quickly.

Vanuatu’s caretaker Prime Minister, Charlot Salwai, thanked China for the timely assistance. He said that international support is super important to help Vanuatu get back on its feet.

Isn’t it great when countries help each other out? 🌟 It shows how we can all come together in tough times. What do you think about this kind of international friendship?
