Good news from Syria! 😊 A ceasefire (which means stopping the fighting) has brought peace to the province of Sweida after days of conflict. This means people can feel safe again and start rebuilding their lives.
During the fighting, many families had to leave their homes to stay safe. Over 2,000 Arab Sunni Bedouin families moved to the nearby province of Daraa. Imagine having to leave your home quickly and go somewhere new—that can be really tough!
Now that there’s peace, everyone is hoping that these families can return home soon. The ceasefire agreement also includes plans to help people get the things they need, like food and medicine.
It’s important for everyone to work together to keep the peace. Let’s hope that Sweida stays calm and that children can go back to their schools and play with their friends. Peace is possible when people come together! 🕊️
