Storm Sinks Tourist Boat in Vietnam’s Ha Long Bay
At least 18 people have died and many are missing after a tourist boat capsized on Saturday in Ha Long Bay, Vietnam. Ha Long Bay is a beautiful place known for its stunning limestone islands and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site 🌏.
The boat was carrying over 50 people, including families from Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam. There were more than 20 children on board.
A sudden heavy rainstorm caused the boat to tip over 🌧️⛵. Border guards were able to rescue 12 people and recovered 18 bodies. Many people are still missing, and rescue teams are working hard to find them.
