Hey there! Did you hear about the big fire that happened near Boston? 🔥 On Sunday night, a fire broke out at a place where many older people live, called the Gabriel House Assisted Living Facility in Fall River, Massachusetts.
It was around 9:30 p.m. when the fire started. About 70 people were living there, and many of them needed help to get around. 🧓👴 The firefighters were super quick! 🚒 Around 50 firefighters rushed to the scene to help.
They bravely went into the building to rescue the residents. Some people were even hanging from windows waiting to be saved! 😲 Thanks to their courage, many lives were saved. However, some people were hurt, and sadly, some lost their lives. Our hearts go out to their families. 💔
The firefighters worked hard to put out the fire and help everyone they could. Five firefighters were injured, but they’ll be okay. 👍 The city also set up a shelter to help the people who lived there and lost their homes.
