Devastating Texas Floods Claim 81 Lives 😢
Hey everyone, we have some sad news to share. A terrible flood in Texas has taken at least 81 lives, including 28 children. 🌧️💧
The heavy rains caused the Guadalupe River to overflow on Friday, July 4th, which is Independence Day in the United States. This led to dangerous flash floods across the state. ⚠️
Summer Camp Tragedy
One of the saddest parts of this disaster happened at Camp Mystic, a Christian girls’ summer camp that’s almost 100 years old. Ten campers and one counselor are still missing. Our hearts go out to them and their families. 💔
Rescue Efforts
Over 850 people have been rescued so far, including some who were clinging to trees! 😲 The U.S. Coast Guard and other rescue teams are working hard to find those who are still missing.
