So what’s going on? Well, the people in charge of Iran’s roads and airways want to make sure that everyone who flies over or into Iran stays safe. That’s why they’ve decided to wait just a little bit longer before fully opening their airspace to all flights. Safety first! 🛡️
A spokesperson from Iran’s Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, Mr. Majid Akhavan, said that while the eastern part of the country’s airspace is now open, the northern, southern, and western parts will stay closed until 2 p.m. local time on Saturday (that’s 10:30 a.m. in Greenwich Mean Time). 🕑
Earlier, they had planned to open up sooner, but they thought it would be better to take more time to make sure everything is A-OK. They want flights to get back to normal, just like before some recent troubles. 🚀
