Hey there, have you heard about the big event happening in China? 🎉 The 9th China-South Asia Expo just opened in Kunming, a city in southwest China’s Yunnan Province!
This amazing expo brings together people from 73 countries and regions, and over 2,500 companies! That’s like having representatives from nearly every country in South Asia and Southeast Asia all in one place.

This expo started back in 2013, the same year China began the Belt and Road Initiative, which is a big plan to connect different countries through trade and infrastructure. Since then, the expo has helped make over $110 billion in trade deals and has hosted more than 20,000 companies!
The expo is organized by the Ministry of Commerce and the Yunnan provincial government. It’s super important because it helps strengthen the economic and trade relationships between China and South Asian countries.
