Hey there! Did you know that experts from around the world gathered in New York City to talk about making the world a better place? 💫 On May 24-25, leaders met at a special conference called “A Beautiful Vision for Humanity in Times of Great Turbulence” hosted by the Schiller Institute.
They discussed how countries in the Global South (that’s places like Africa, Latin America, and parts of Asia) are growing and developing. They talked about important topics like helping people in need and finding peaceful solutions to problems. 🕊️ One big topic was the idea of a two-state solution to help bring peace between Israelis and Palestinians.
Richard A. Black, a representative from New York for the Schiller Institute, said something really inspiring: “The Global South has been deprived of that human right of economic development, now that is changing.” 🌟 This means that places that haven’t had as much chance to grow are now starting to improve and have more opportunities!
