What Did the Survey Find?
A lot of people in the survey are worried about the U.S. immigration policies. Almost 80% (that’s nearly 4 out of 5 people!) think that the U.S. is promoting ideas against immigrants. They feel this doesn’t match the history of the U.S., since it’s a country built by people from many different places.
What’s Happening in Los Angeles?
In Los Angeles, there have been protests and even soldiers in the streets. Some people are worried about disagreements between leaders in California and the U.S. government. This has caused more tension between different political parties.
People’s Concerns
Many are concerned that these disagreements and how immigration laws are enforced could lead to more problems. Almost 90% of the survey participants think that arguments between politicians are making people more divided.
