Sad News from Gaza 🇵🇸
Hello friends, today we have some important news from a place called Gaza. Let’s learn about what’s happening there.
What Happened?
Recently, there were clashes (that’s when groups are in conflict) in Gaza, and sadly, some people were hurt. The Gaza civil defense agency said that 36 people lost their lives, and six of them were near a special place where people go to get help, called an aid distribution center.
Why Did This Happen?
The Israeli military said they fired “warning shots” at people they thought might be getting too close and could be a danger. Unfortunately, some people were hurt during this event.
The Aid Center
The aid center is run by the Gaza Humanitarian Fund (GHF). It’s a place where people can receive food and other important supplies. Sometimes, the center has to pause giving out aid if it’s not safe. On Saturday, they couldn’t give out aid because of “direct threats” from a group called Hamas.
Other Events
Later, the Israeli army said they had an operation in Gaza City that led to the death of a leader of a group called the Mujahideen Brigades.
Why Is This Important?
Many people in Gaza are affected by these events, especially families and children. The United Nations says that many regular people, called civilians, have been impacted. It’s important for us to know about these events so we can understand the world better.
