Hey there! 👋 Have you heard about the latest news between Russia and Ukraine?
Russia says that Ukraine has postponed a plan to exchange prisoners and accept back the bodies of soldiers.
In wars or conflicts, countries sometimes agree to exchange prisoners or return the bodies of soldiers who have sadly died. This helps families find peace and shows respect.
According to a Russian official named Vladimir Medinsky, Russia was ready to hand over more than 6,000 bodies of Ukrainian soldiers. They also planned to exchange prisoners who are wounded, seriously ill, or under the age of 25.
He mentioned that 1,212 bodies were already at the exchange point, waiting to be returned to Ukraine. Russia also gave Ukraine a list of 640 prisoners to exchange.
However, Medinsky said that Ukraine has postponed this exchange for now. There hasn’t been any response from Ukraine about this yet.
Let’s hope both countries can work things out peacefully soon! ✌️
