Chen Yufei, who is 25 years old and won the gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics, played an awesome match against An Se-young from South Korea. From the very start, Chen was on fire! She took an early lead of 4-0 in the first game and kept her momentum going to win it 21-13. ๐
In the second game, An Se-young tried her best to come back and even led 4-2 at one point. But Chen didn’t give up! She fought back with quick and powerful shots that put a lot of pressure on An. Chen’s amazing smashes and speedy moves helped her win the second game 21-16. ๐ฅณ
With this victory, Chen Yufei moves on to the semifinals, where she’ll face her teammate Han Yue. Chen said after the match, “That was an exciting match because An has been playing so well this season. I made some mistakes, but I tried my best to adjust, and I’m really happy after beating her.” ๐
