Hey everyone! 🛳️ Did you hear about what’s happening in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK)? Three shipyard officials have been detained after a big accident with a brand new 5,000-ton warship.
The leader of the DPRK, Kim Jong Un, saw the accident happen during the ship’s launch. He was very upset and called it a “criminal act” because it hurt the country’s dignity. He ordered that the warship be fixed right away, saying it’s not just about the ship but also about the country’s reputation.
The officials who were detained are Kang Jong Chol, the chief engineer at the Chongjin Shipyard; Han Kyong Hak, the head of the hull construction workshop; and Kim Yong Hak, the deputy manager for administrative affairs.
