Trump Tells Apple: Make iPhones in the U.S. or Pay More

Hey there! 📱 Do you use an iPhone? Well, there’s some big news about iPhones and where they’re made!

Recently, former U.S. President Donald Trump said that if Apple doesn’t make their iPhones in the United States, they might have to pay extra money called a “tariff.” A tariff is like a tax on products that come from other countries.

Trump posted on a social media site called Truth Social. He told Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple, that iPhones sold in America should be made in America, not in places like India or anywhere else.

He said that if Apple doesn’t do this, they might have to pay a tariff of at least 25%. That means iPhones could get more expensive if they’re made outside the U.S.!

What do you think about this? Do you think Apple should make iPhones in the U.S., or is it okay if they’re made in other countries?
