Moscow Celebrates Victory Day with Spectacular Military Parade 🎖️
Hey everyone! Did you hear about the big celebration in Moscow, Russia on Friday?
Russia celebrated Victory Day, marking the 80th anniversary of the end of the Soviet Union’s Great Patriotic War! That’s what Russians call their fight against Nazi Germany during World War II.
Thousands of soldiers marched through Red Square, which is the famous plaza right next to the Kremlin (that’s where the Russian government works!). There were also tanks, missiles, and lots of other cool military vehicles on display.
The parade is a way to remember and honor the millions of people who fought and sacrificed during the war. It’s a big deal in Russia, and people come from all over to watch the festivities.
