Zhao Xintong’s Big Break: Into the Snooker Semifinals! 🎱

Hey, have you heard about Zhao Xintong? He’s a super talented snooker player from the Chinese mainland, and he’s just made it to the semifinals of the World Snooker Championship for the very first time!

Zhao played against Chris Wakelin from England in the quarterfinals in Sheffield. He won with a score of 13-5! That’s like scoring lots of goals in a soccer match! ⚽️

After winning, Zhao said, “I didn’t set too high a goal for myself when I came to play. Now I’m in the last four, I think there is still space for me to improve. I believe I still have more potential.”

Guess who Zhao will play next? Ronnie O’Sullivan, a seven-time world champion from England! Ronnie was Zhao’s hero when he was a kid. Zhao said, “It will be a great honor to play against him in the semifinals.”

Isn’t it exciting when you get to compete against your hero? Imagine playing basketball with LeBron James or soccer with Lionel Messi! 🏀⚽️

The other semifinal match will be between Mark Williams from Wales and Judd Trump from England. Both are amazing players too!

The semifinals start on Thursday. Let’s cheer for Zhao and see how far he can go! 🎉
