Gaza School and Hospital Hit by Airstrikes: Children Affected 😢
Hi friends, today we have some sad news to share. In Gaza, a place far away, airstrikes have hit a school and a children’s hospital, causing damage and affecting many people.
What Happened?
An airstrike is when a bomb is dropped from an airplane. On Wednesday, an airstrike hit the Yafa School in Gaza City. The school was a shelter for families who had to leave their homes. At least 10 people lost their lives, and many were hurt. Another airstrike hit the Durra Children’s Hospital, damaging important parts of the building. Luckily, no one was hurt in the hospital.
Why Is This Important?
Schools and hospitals are places where people should feel safe, especially children. When these places are damaged, it affects the whole community. Many families have lost their homes, and now some have lost their safe shelters too.
Helping Each Other
In times like this, it’s important to think about how we can help others. People around the world are working to provide aid, like food, water, and medicine, to those affected.
What Can You Do?
- Learn more about what’s happening in the world.
- Talk to your parents or teachers about ways to help.
- Be thankful for the safe places we have.
Let’s keep the children and families in Gaza in our thoughts and hopes for peace. 🕊️
