Kevin De Bruyne is Leaving Manchester City! 😲
Hey football fans! Do you know Kevin De Bruyne? He’s one of the best midfielders in the world, and he’s been playing for Manchester City for almost 10 years! But guess what? He’s decided that this season will be his last with the club. 😢
Kevin, who’s 33 years old and from Belgium, has won lots of trophies with Manchester City. Since joining in 2015, he’s helped the team win six Premier League titles and even the UEFA Champions League in 2023! 🏆
On Friday, Kevin shared the big news on Instagram. He wrote, “I’ll get straight to it and let you all know that these will be my final months as a Manchester City player. Every story comes to an end, but this has definitely been the best chapter.”

Kevin has been amazing in the midfield, making incredible passes and scoring goals. He’s given 174 assists (that’s when you help someone else score a goal) and scored 106 goals for Manchester City! That’s a lot! ⚽️
He’s also second on the Premier League’s all-time assists list with 118 assists, just behind Ryan Giggs, who has 162. Wow! 😮
But lately, Kevin has had some injuries, and he’s decided it’s time to say goodbye. Manchester City said they’ll give him a special farewell at the end of the season.
Even though this season has been tough, Kevin and his team still have a chance to win another trophy in the FA Cup! Let’s cheer them on! 🙌
