Greenland is a massive island covered in ice and snow. It’s located between the Arctic and Atlantic oceans. While it’s not a country, it’s an autonomous territory of Denmark, which means they have their own government but are still connected to Denmark.
Many people were surprised by President Trump’s idea. But Greenland’s leader wants everyone to know that Greenland is not for sale!
