Wildfires Blaze Through South Korea 🔥
In South Korea, wildfires have sadly taken the lives of at least 27 people and burned down some ancient temples. The fires started in Uiseong County and have become the largest in the country’s history, burning over 33,000 hectares! To give you an idea, that’s like 46,000 soccer fields!
Indonesia’s Volcano Erupts! 🌋
Indonesia’s Lewotobi Laki-laki volcano erupted, sending ash clouds over 8 kilometers into the sky! That’s taller than 20 Eiffel Towers stacked on top of each other. Some people had to leave their homes to stay safe. Did you know Indonesia has around 130 active volcanoes? It’s part of the Pacific “Ring of Fire,” where lots of earthquakes and volcanic eruptions happen.
China’s New Space Satellite 🚀
China launched a new satellite called Tianlian II-04 into space from Sichuan Province. This special satellite helps astronauts communicate with their spaceships and space stations. It’s like a super high-tech space messenger!
