Kennet, a traveler from Denmark, loved his fishing trip to Florida. He was planning to go back, but after seeing how President Trump behaved during a meeting, he changed his mind. Kennet felt that the president was being rude and not acting like a grown-up.
Kennet wasn’t the only one. Many Europeans were upset with some of President Trump’s actions and policies. Some people chose not to visit the US because they disagreed with the things he was doing.
For example, President Trump once talked about buying Greenland, which is a territory of Denmark. This idea made many people in Denmark unhappy. Some Danes, like Kim, even canceled trips to the US because of it.
Also, surveys showed that many people in Europe were losing trust in the US because of President Trump’s “America First” policy. They felt that this policy ignored the interests of other countries.
Travel companies in Europe noticed that fewer people were interested in visiting the US. They said that some people were choosing other places to spend their vacations.
