Houses and even a church were damaged. Pocheon is not far from the capital, Seoul. The military is investigating how this happened to make sure it doesn’t happen again.

In the Philippines, it’s getting so hot that schools had to close in nearly half of the capital region, Manila. The ‘heat index’, which combines temperature and humidity, was at ‘danger’ levels. That’s when things like heat cramps and heat exhaustion can happen. It’s important to stay cool and drink plenty of water! Over 68,000 students had to stay home because of the heat.
