Hey kids! Did you hear the news? China is asking the United Nations (that’s like the world’s biggest group where countries work together) to help bring peace to Ukraine!
On Monday, a Chinese representative named Fu Cong spoke at a special meeting. He said it’s super important for all countries to join hands and help Ukraine and Russia talk things out.
“It’s better to talk than to fight,” he said. “We hope everyone can come to the table and find a way to make peace.”
China wants the United Nations to help countries agree on peace and support talks between Ukraine and Russia. They believe that even if people don’t agree on everything, it’s still better to try to work things out together.
Fu Cong also mentioned that Europe should do its part to help stop the fighting. He thinks that by working together, everyone can make sure Europe is a safe and happy place.
China is ready to help in any way they can. They want to make sure everyone’s ideas are heard, especially from countries that might not have a big voice.
Guess what else? The United Nations voted on a plan to encourage peace between Ukraine and Russia! Lots of countries agreed, and they’re hoping it will help end the conflict soon.
